MagneGas Corporation® new exhibitor

MagneGas Corporation® is a waste to energy company that converts liquid waste into a hydrogen based fuel. The Company owns the patents to sterilize a number of liquid wastes and produce a gaseous fuel known as MagneGas®. MagneGas® is a clean burning fuel that is essentially interchangeable with Natural Gas, Propane and Acetylene and it can be co-combusted with existing hydrocarbon fuels. MagneGas® has significantly lower greenhouse gas emissions when compared to fossil fuel. The Magnegas® system occupies a small footprint and runs in a sealed, quiet and smoke free system.

Teréga new exhibitor

The vision of Teréga (former TIGF) is to accelerate the energy transition with gas.
Teréga is convinced that gas i required as an energy of the future because it can allow a real acceleration to the energy model of tomorrow.

Teréga accounts for 14% of the French transport network and 24% of France´s storage capacity. Due to more than 70 years of know-how and development of natural gas transmission and storage Teréga is now able to design new solutions around its green businesses from biomethane and future projects such as Power to Gas.

Electrochaea GmbH new exhibitor

Electrochaea has developed a commercially viable and disruptive solution for utility-scale energy storage, grid balancing, and carbon reuse.

Electrocahea’s proprietary process converts low-cost and stranded electricity and carbon dioxide into pipeline-grade renewable gas for direct injection into the existing natural gas grid, a conversion process known as “power-to-gas”.

ENGIE new Silver Sponsor

As ENGIE rises to overcome the challenges of the transition to clean energy and a low carbon economy, ENGIE draws on three areas of expertise: electricity, natural gas, and energy services. The Group is developing innovative, effective solutions for all of its customers, whether households or professionals, towns or regions, businesses or industry, in the following key sectors: renewable energies, energy efficiency, natural gas, LNG, and the digital technology of the future.

Dr. Olivier Guerrini, Industrial Director, ENGIE will give a presentation in the opening session related to biogas and biomethane in France.

Waste and Biomass Valorization Journal in collaboration with REGATEC 2018

High quality presentations and posters at REGATEC 2018 will have the opportunity to be included in a theme section of Waste and Biomass Valorization Journal.

If recommended by the REGATEC team the authors are required to submit full length papers meeting the standards for journal publication.

More info will be announced at REGATEC 2018.

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd new exhibitor

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd is one of the leading research and technology organisations in Europe with more than 2,400 employees.

From the early 1980s to the present, VTT has been involved in several European gasification projects aiming to develop and demonstrate gasification processes on a commercial scale. VTT’s own test facilities range from laboratory-scale reactors to bench-scale testing units and pilot-scale process development plants.

Dr. Johanna Kihlman will give an oral presentation related to the main results of the Soletair project and the development of a new methanation reactor.

Anaero Technology new exhibitor

Anaero Technology was founded from the need for equipment capable of evaluating the biogas or inhibitory potential of feeds processed in full-scale AD plants. Anaero Technology has developed and patented equipment that is easy to use, robust, consistent, and capable of using the same inoculum, and feed, of full-scale plants. Anaero Technology aims to improve access to AD research and optimisation whilst driving research standards up. Anaero Technology offers 1) Biomethane potential (BMP) sets for characterisation of feedstocks and toxicity studies 2) Automatically-fed research digesters for process evaluation and modelling. Anaero Technology also carries out collaborative research with industry or academic institutions using the autofed digesters and BMP equipment at Anaero Tech. Cambridge laboratory.

YARA France a new exhibitor

Yara France is a supplier of additives in order to increases the efficiency of the biogas production. The bacteria are given higher accessibility to the carbon sources in the substrate, thus accelerating and optimizing the conversion of substrates into biogas. The result is an increased methane concentration in the biogas, and therefore a higher energy content.
