Storengy is represented in Germany by two companies: Storengy Deutschland GmbH, Berlin, and Storengy Deutschland Betrieb GmbH, Hanover. Storengy Deutschland GmbH is the national company representative of Storengy. It develops and builds gas storage facilities and markets the gas storage capacities. Storengy Deutschland Betrieb GmbH is a technical operating company that controls and maintains Storengy’s natural gas storage facilities in Germany. In addition, the company offers storage services for third parties, e.g. technical operations management, technical dispatching and maintenance. Storengy Deutschland GmbH makes its expertise available to numerous partners worldwide to develop geothermal projects (heat and electricity production) as well as energy storage, power-to-x-solutions and green gases.
Electrochaea has developed a commercially viable and disruptive solution for utility-scale energy storage, grid balancing, and carbon reuse. The proprietary process converts low-cost and stranded electricity and carbon dioxide into pipeline-grade renewable gas for direct injection into the existing natural gas grid, a conversion process known as “power-to-gas”. The core of our power-to-gas system is a selectively evolved microorganism – a methanogenic archaea – that excels through unprecedented catalytic ability and industrial robustness.
Azola is a startup company, which developed a liquefaction and storage solution based on proprietary and patented technologies. The team is made of specialists coming from a wide array of industries such as gas purification, cryogenic and anaerobic digestion processes, engineering and project management. The know-how is used to provide a suitable solution to overcome biomethane injection related issues and maximising revenues from biomethane production units.
