Bioprocess Control new exhibitor

Bioprocess Control is active in the area of advanced instrumentation and control technologies for research and commercial applications in a wide range of industries. The company was founded in 2006, and brings to market more than 15 years of research in the area of instrumentation, control and automation of anaerobic digestion processes. Today Bioprocess Control has product exports to almost 60 countries.

Bioprocess Control’s flagship product the Automatic Methane Potential Test System or AMPTS has quickly become the preferred analytical instrument around the world for conducting biochemical methane potential (BMP) tests. It is used by both academic and industrial actors in the biogas industry. Bioprocess Control also offers a portfolio of exciting products in the areas of substrate analysis, process simulation, gas flow measurement, as well as a series of bioreactors. This comprehensive and broad product portfolio allows the company to offer technology solutions that can both stabilise and unleash the true potential of a biogas plant.

European Biogas Association and BIOSURF new exhibitors

Founded in February 2009, European Biogas Association (EBA) is the leading European association in the field of biogas and biomethane production covering the anaerobic digestion and gasification industries. Committed to the active promotion of the deployment of sustainable biogas and biomethane production and use throughout Europe, EBA has created a perfect network of established national organisations, scientific institutes and companies. In 2015, the association counted around 75 members from all over Europe and had established co-operation with biogas associations from outside Europe.

BIOSURF is an EU-funded project under the Horizon 2020 programme for research, technological development and demonstration. The objective of BIOSURF (BIOmethane as SUstainable and Renewable Fuel) is to increase the production and use of biomethane for grid injection and as transport fuel, by removing non-technical barriers and by paving the way towards a European biomethane market. The BIOSURF consortium consists of 11 partners from 7 countries.

The REGATEC 2016 call for posters is open

A maximum of 32 posters will be accepted for presentation and published in the REGATEC 2016 conference proceedings. Poster proposal are accepted on a first come, first served basis until the maximum number is reached. Besides the scientific quality and industrial relevance REGATEC strives to get a good international mix of poster presenters and at the same time respect the gender equality.

Topics

  • Anaerobic digestion, gas cleaning and upgrading
  • Cryogenic upgrading and/or liquefaction
  • Biomass gasification, syngas cleaning, methanation and CHP
  • Power-to-gas

For more info see http://www.regatec.org/posters

Poster session extended due to large nr of submissions

Due to the large number of high quality submissions the REGATEC 2015 poster session will be extended. In total 54 poster proposals were recieved. 33 have been accepted, 7 are in process and 14 have been withdrawn or rejected.

The accepted posters cover anaerobic digestion, gas cleaning, upgrading, gasification, methanation, Power-to-gas, and biogas in dual fuel systems and fuel cells.

See the list of accepted posters.

The call for posters is open until the 31st of March

The poster session is an important part of the REGATEC conference where the latest advances in gasificaton, syngas cleaning, methanation, pretreatment, anaerobic digestion and upgrading are highlighted.

With accepted posters from Abu Dabhi, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Sweden and the Netherlands it contributes to the international flair of the conference.

The call for posters will close on the 31st of March. For more information please visit the poster section.

REGATEC 2014 welcomes MicrobEnergy GmbH as a gold sponsor and ADBA UK as an exhibitor

MicrobEnergy GmbH is a part of the Viessmann Group and is specialized in biological methanation. MicrobEnergy GmbH developes and sells microbiological products and technical system components. The company is also specialized in process control and optimizing biological systems. MicrobEnergy GmbH uses highly specialized microorganisms, which convert hydrogen and carbon dioxide into pure methane.

Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas Association UK, ADBA, is a not-for-profit trade body representing businesses in the anaerobic digestion sector and to support those interested in using the technology, to help remove the barriers to growth currently faced by the industry and to promote the benefits of AD to the UK. ADBA arranges a successful biogas trade show and conference on an annual basis.
