Electrochaea GmbH new exhibitor

Electrochaea has developed a commercially viable and disruptive solution for utility-scale energy storage, grid balancing, and carbon reuse.

Electrocahea’s proprietary process converts low-cost and stranded electricity and carbon dioxide into pipeline-grade renewable gas for direct injection into the existing natural gas grid, a conversion process known as “power-to-gas”.

Anaero Technology new exhibitor

Anaero Technology was founded from the need for equipment capable of evaluating the biogas or inhibitory potential of feeds processed in full-scale AD plants. Anaero Technology has developed and patented equipment that is easy to use, robust, consistent, and capable of using the same inoculum, and feed, of full-scale plants. Anaero Technology aims to improve access to AD research and optimisation whilst driving research standards up. Anaero Technology offers 1) Biomethane potential (BMP) sets for characterisation of feedstocks and toxicity studies 2) Automatically-fed research digesters for process evaluation and modelling. Anaero Technology also carries out collaborative research with industry or academic institutions using the autofed digesters and BMP equipment at Anaero Tech. Cambridge laboratory.

Go Green Gas new exhibitor

Go Green Gas is a partnership between Cadent (formerly known as National Grid Gas Distribution), Advanced Plasma Power and Progressive Energy and others in the UK to demonstrate production of Bio-substitute natural gas (BioSNG). BioSNG is a green gas produced by thermal and chemical conversion of wastes and biomass. It is an affordable, low carbon gas that can be used to heat homes and power vehicles. A £5 million pilot plant has successfully demonstrated production of BioSNG from refuse derived fuel. Construction of the first commercial facility, costing £25 million, is underway and it will commence operation in 2018.
