Region Skåne (the regional authority in Scania, the southernmost province in Sweden) has the ambition to be the leading biogas region in Sweden and has set up a roadmap to reach 3 TWh/year biomethane in 2020 based on anaerobic digestion and biomass gasification/methanation.
